34 cars are ready for Round 2 of FIA WEC at Spa Francorchamps this weekend.
The usual field of 32 full season cars will be joined by Manor with their 2nd car, and G-Drive Racing will bring a second car as well. The car normally runs in ELMS with Simon Dolan, and Giedo Van Der Garde while Jake Dennis will be the new man in the car, since their usual 3rd driver, Harry Tincknell is on duty at Ford Chip Ganassi in GTE Pro.
At the race at Silverstone, we originally saw Audi #7 cross the finish line fist, but post race tech found some irregularity with the car that made them lose the win, which was handed to Porsche #2, ahead of Toyota #6 and Rebellion #13.
The LMP2 class was won by RGT Sport by Morand #43 ahead of Extreme Speed Motorsports #31 and G-Drive Racing #26. G-Drive was quite fast throughout the race, but Lady Luck wasn’t on their side. So it will be interesting to see if they can take a 1-2 this weekend.

GTE Pro was won by AF Corse #71 ahead of their teammates #51 while Aston Martin Racing #95 took home 3rd position.
It was a Ferrari winning in GTE Am with number 83 ahead of Aston Martin Racing #98 and Larbre Competition #50.
The 6 hours race will be held at the demanding track, that a lot of drivers mention as their favourite race track with a lot of great corners the drivers have to drive with very high speed. You can only be impressed when you have seen a LMP1 car accelerate out of the La Source hairpin or drive flat out through Eau Rouge with sparks flying behind the cars.
