Audi Sport Team Joest #8 has taken Pole Position for 6 hours of Mexico in the FIA WEC Championship.
Loic Duval and Lucas Di Grassi beat Porsche #2 and the sister car Audi #7 as well Porsche #1. Toyota Gazoo Racing was once again the slowest LMP1 works car, and their car really doesn’t seem to like the high downforce kit, as we saw the exactly same tendency at the Nürburgring, which was also a high downforce track. Rebellion Racing was faster than Bykolles Racing among the privateers.
In LMP2 we saw RGR Sport by Morand taking Pole Position. Signatech Alpine #36 with Nicolas Lapierre was the clostest competitor, but crashed on their final flying lap. Strakka Racing will start the race as 3rd.

Aston Martin #95 took the second Pole Position in a row in GTE-Pro. Aston Martin #97 starts P2 while AF Corse #51 has 3rd starting position.
Aston Martin also took pole in GTE-Am. Here we saw car #98 with Paul Dalla Lana and Pedro Lamy, while Abu-Dhabi Proton Racing #88 and Gulf Racing #86 followed up.
The race will start tomorrow at 20.30 CET.
