ADAC Formula 4 has another bumper field when the season starts at the end of April.
28 out of 35 places are already reserved, and the series are sure that the rest will be filled before the season starts.
The number is a significant drop compared to last season, with more than 40 entries already at this point.
Throughout the 2016 we have seen a field of around 35-40 cars, and since some of the tracks are limited to maximum 35 starters, the series has decided to put that limit on for 2017.
The series will once again be shown on free-tv channel Sport1 and via Live Streaming.
They will continue with the same Tatuus chassis, Pirelli tires, and Abarth engine in this 3rd season for the series.
The calendar is as follows (subject to change):
28/04/17 – 30/04/17 Motorsport Arena Oschersleben
19/05/17 – 21/05/17 Motorsport Festival Lausitzring (together with the DTM)
