The Briton Alex Lynn secured a multi-year deal as Reserve and Development Driver for DS Virgin Racing in Formula E.
For the 23-year-old Lynn DS Virgin Racing was his first choice: “Formula E is arguably the most competitive motor racing championship in the world, with the highest calibre of drivers. As a driver I want to be competing in the top series, which is why I’ve been trying so hard to get into Formula E.”
Lynn brings a wealth of experience and success in single-seater racing, having won the Formula Renault UK and GP3 titles alongside multiple GP2 race wins and a Macau race win together with his recent sports car debut and development role within Formula 1.
“I’m delighted we have acquired a driver of the calibre and potential of Alex Lynn. It is a testament to the strength of Formula E and it speaks volumes that Alex has chosen DS Virgin Racing as his team. We’re excited to see what he’s capable of in our car” added DS Virgin’s Team Principal Alex Tai.
