Rahel Frey and Philip Geipel continue at YACO Racing in ADAC GT Masters 2017.
This will be the fourth season together for the combo, and the sixth for the team in the German GT3 series. Just like in the previous seasons, in an Audi R8 LMS.
They got the first victory for the team at Zandvoort in 2016, and managed to grab 8th in the Championship for Geipel. Frey finished one spot behind, since she had to miss a round.
Team boss Uwe Geipel says: “Both our drivers made it into the Top Ten last year, despite the fact that there were five races where we failed to score points as a result of no-fault collisions. We want to get through the year without any retirements and consistently score points. That guarantees that you finish up front in the end. Last year’s championship-winning team took only one win but achieved a further six podiums.”
The ADAC GT Masters season starts on April 28th-30th in Oschersleben.
