The FIA Formula E Championship will double up in Berlin.
Earlier this year it was announced that the race in Brussels was cancelled, when the city council didn’t agree about the plane about the location and the approval.
Exactly the same situation happened in Berlin, but then the race was moved to the former airport at Tempelhof.
Now we will have a double up on the “airport race”, with the originally planned Berlin ePrix will be held on the Saturday, and the replacement for the Brussels ePrix will be run on Sunday.
That is good news for drivers like Maro Engel and Loic Duval, who also participates in DTM. They had a date clash with the original race in Belgium, but this new date is an off-weekend for them anyway.
The next round in the FIA Formula E Championship will be run on April 1st in Mexico.
