Panis Barthez Competition has the drivers ready for their ELMS season.
In the LMP2 car with number 23, we will once again see Fabien Barthez and Timothe Buret, while Nathanael Berthon will be new the third driver in the car.
In the LMP3 car will number 16, Eric Debard and Simon Gachet has been reelected, while new man is Theo Bean.
Berthon has a single-seater background, where he has done Formula Renault 3,5 and GP among others before starting to flirt with sportscar racing. So far he has had three starts at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In 2016 he did half a season in FIA WEC for G-Drive Racing, before he switched to Greaves Motorsport, whom he did Le Mans and the rest of the ELMS season for.
Theo Bean is a 24 year-old American who has competed in Continental Tires Sports Car Challenge as well as Toyota Racing Series New Zealand. Now the quite inexperienced driver will try out the sportscar racing in Europe for Panis Barthez Competition.
The ELMS season starts in a month’s time at Silverstone, but already two weeks from now we will have all the ELMS at the mandatory Prologue at Monza.
