Alex Lynn confirmed at G-Drive Racing

Alex Lynn has now been confirmed at G-Drive Rcing in FIA WEC.

He tested for the team earlier this month. The G-Drive Racing team is run by TDS by Thiriet team this year in the FIA World Endurance Championship, and now the team has entered him officially as their third driver at the opening round at Silverstone in one month’s time.

Alex Lynn is 23 years old and born in England. He has won many races and championships throughout the years, for example the Formula Renault UK and GP3 Championships and lately finished 6th two seasons in a row in GP2. In 2016 he started flirting with sportscar racing, where he had three starts for the Manor team in FIA WEC. In the last three races of the season, he put a very positive note on their LMP2 programme. Unfortunately the luck and his co-drivers speed weren’t quite on his side, but he proved his worth well enough, so that one of the opposition from last year – G-Drive Racing – has now hired him for a full season.

His co-drivers this year at G-Drive Racing will be the team owner Pierre Thiriet, and the man who brings the G-Drive name, Roman Rusinov.
