Aust Motorsport ready with another Audi R8 LMS

Aust Motorsport will enter an additional Audi R8 LMS i ADAC GT Masters.

After the team announced Markus Pommer and Pierre Kaffer a few weeks ago, they announced today that Patric Niederhauser and Dennis Marschall will also race for the team.

Niederhauser has been driving single-seater cars all the way up to, including GP2. But in parallel with that, he flirted with sportcars of both open and closed types. In 2016 he made a few starts for Attempto Racing in ADAC GT Masters in a Lamborghini. However, this year, it will be in an Audi.

The Marschall name is quite well known if you have followed the junior classes in German motorsport for the last few seasons. After plenty of trophies in karting, he went on to do ADAC Formula Masters in 2014. He managed an overall 6th position. For the last two seasons he has driven Audi Sport TT Cup, where he finished third and second respectively in the overall championship. Added to that, he got a very nice second place in the battle for German Motorsport talent 2016. Going from just above 300 bhp to more than 500 will be quite a big jump – but he is young and fast, so he will most likely figure it out quickly.

It will be exciting to follow the two young drivers, when ADAC GT Masters starts the season on April 28th-30th at Oschersleben.
