The European Le Mans Series had their first collective testing of the year at Monza today.
It was really close at the front of each field, where only a few tenths or thousands were splitting the cars.
DragonSpeed #21 was the quickest LMP2 car in the morning while Graff #40 was fastest in the afternoon.
AT Racing was at the top in the morning while M.Racing – YMR was the fastest in the afternoon, with Ligier JS P3 car number 18 ahead of their other car #19, which is a Norma M30.
The GTE classification was led by TF Sport 90 in both the morning and afternoon session.
If we look at the top speeds, there were very high speeds in LMP2. G-Drive Racing 22 did 311,2 kph closely followed by High Class Racing with 310,3 kph.
The Oregon Team #10 led the top speed in LMP3 with 279,1 kph followed by Eurointernational #11 with 277,6 kph.
The GTE cars were not far from them, with the two Aston Martin cars from TF Sport and Beechdean AMR both doing 273,4 kph.
The test will continue tomorrow.
