Miguel Molina will be the final member of the Spirit of Race team in FIA WEC.
The team, who will get technical help from AF Corse, has a past in the Asian Le Mans Series, but now they want to join the big sportscar scene.
The car will be a Ferrari 488 GTE, where he will get Thomas Flohr and Francesco Castelacci as co-drivers.
Molina has driven in DTM for Audi Sport for the last few seasons, but when they cut down on their programme, there wasn’t any seat left for the 28 year-old Spaniard.
He was part of Ferrari’s shootout when they were looking for a replacement for Gimmi Bruni in their GTE-Pro team, but instead he get this chance in the GTE-Am category.
The three drivers will share the car for the first time this weekend, where the Prologue will be held at Monza.
