The ELMS test at Monza continued today in bright sunshine.
After the report yesterday, there was a night session being run, where a large part of the field chose to stay in the garage. Graff 40 was one again the fastest in LMP2. AT Racing 9 was the fastest in LMP3, while Beechdean AMR 99 was the only GTE car on the track.
On Wednesday morning, all the cars were back on the track.
Beechdean AMR 99 repeated the fastest time from yesterday and was fastest once again. The defending LMP3 Champions United Autosports was quickest in LMP3 with car number 2, while IDEC Sport Racing was the fastest one in LMP2.
Graff 39 finished the test off by being fastest in LMP2, with Panis Barthez Competition 16 in LMP3 and a Ferrari 1-2 in GTE with Spirit of Race 55 ahead of their teammates in the number 51 car.
TF Sport had an incident this morning, when Salih Yoluc who was behind the wheel had a collision with an LMP3 car, which meant that the team couldn’t return to the track in the afternoon.
The only top speed that was beaten from yesterdays report was Graff 40 doing 314,9 kph in the LMP2 class.
The European Le Mans Series will be back on track in two weeks’ time, when the first free practice starts at Silverstone on Thursday afternoon on April 13th.
