Stanaway and Serra third drivers at Aston Martin Racing

Richie Stanaway and Daniel Serra will be the third drivers at Aston Martin Racing in FIA WEC.

The two drivers will help AMR at Silverstone, Spa, and Le Mans, before the team will finish the season off with two drivers.

Stanaway will drive in number 95 with Nicki Thiim and Marco Sørensen as the main drivers, while Serra will help Darren Turner and Jonny Adam in number 97.

Stanaway drove for Aston Martin Racing in the 97 car in 2016 as well, where he gave up that seat to Adam, and then raced V8 Supercars in Australia for the last few races.

Serra is a new man in the team, but he has already tested the Aston Martin V8 Vantage GTE car a lot, and has done some tire testing for Dunlop throughout the winter. Otherwise he has primarily been driving in Brazil, except for a few other trips to for example Le Mans Series and International GT Open back in 2007.

We will see Aston Martin Racing in their 2017 colours for the first time this weekend at Monza for the FIA WEC Prologue.
