Ferrari has announced who will pilot its three GTE-Pro cars at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June.
AF Corse has decided that James Calado and Alessandro Pier Guidi will be joined by Audi Sport driver Lucas Di Grassi in the #51 car, while Davide Rigon and Sam Bird will have the former Audi Sport driver Miguel Molina in car number 71.
Risi Competizione will be joining in from the IMSA Championship where Giancarlo Fisichella and Toni Vilander will have Pierre Kaffer alongside them in the Ferrari 488 GTE car with number 82 on the door.
Lucas Di Grassi primarily participates in the Formula E Championship after Audi Sport left FIA WEC LMP1 after the 2016 season. Now he wants to give the race a shot in a GTE-Pro car.
Miguel Molina was announced in Spirit of Race 54 in the GTE-Am class the other day, but for this one round he will be upgraded to AF Corse in GTE-Pro.
