Thiim, Jensen, and Hanley take Pole at Silverstone

There was a lot of Danish influence in two of the three categories, when the Pole Positions were found for the 4 Hours of Silverstone ELMS race tomorrow.

Nicki Thiim took Pole Position for TF Sport #90 in the GTE category, while his brand colleague Ross Gunn in Beechdean AMR #99 secured second, followed by Matt Griffin in the Spirit of Race #55 Ferrari in third.

In the LMP3 category we saw Mikkel Jensen take the AT Racing #9 to Pole Position, closely followed by Sean Rayhall in United Autosports #2 and Wayne Boyd in United Autosports #3.

Ben Hanley took Pole Position for DragonSpeed #21 in LMP2 while Filipe Albuquerque went second fastest for United Autosports with the 32 on its side. Enzo Guibbert and Graff #39 took third.

There was a single red flag in LMP2 during qualifying. Richard Bradley in Graff #40 had an off-track moment in the Becketts corner and got stuck in the gravel, so he needed help to get out again.

The ELMS cars won’t be on the track again until tomorrow at 14.30 local time, when the race starts.
