Toyota Gazoo Racing #8 continues its streak of fastest laps during the practices at Silverstone
Porsche #1 was the second fastest followed by Porsche #2 and Toyota number 7.
In LMP2 we had TDS Racing #28 as the fastest car, ahead of G-Drive Racing #26 and Jackie Chan DC Racing #38. Vaillante Rebellion was quite fast yesterday, but they were only 10th and 12th today, so most likely they were trying something out regarding the set-up rather than ultimate lap times.

Ford Chip Ganassi Team UK #67 was the fastest in GTE Pro, ahead of its sister car #66 while Ferrari #51 and #71 were third and fourth. Aston Martin had a slow start to the day with 6th and 7th fastest for #97 and #95 respectively. The 95 car had a small spin during the session, but it wasn’t anything serious.

Last but not least the GTE AM category, where AMR #98 was the fastest ahead of Clearwater Racing Ferrari #61 and Spirit of Race Ferrari #54.
The multiple WTCC Champion Jose Maria Lopez in Toyota Gazoo Racing #7 didn’t make more friends in the WEC paddock, when he tried to overtake two GT cars on the outside and ended up hitting Paul Dalla Lana in AMR #98. The incident caused a puncture for the green Aston Martin V8 Vantage, but both cars could make it back to the pits.

The WEC cars are back on track again at 13.00 local time, where qualifying for tomorrow’s race will be run.
