Loic Duval prioritizes DTM

Loic Duval has chosen to prioritize his works seat at Audi Sport in DTM instead of his Formula E seat at Faraday Future Dragon Racing.

That choice is made for the Paris ePrix, where there is a date clash between the Formula E race and the DTM at Lausitzring. Duval is currently only P15 in the Formula E standings, so there’s no chance for a Championship medal for him this season, anyway.

It will be Mike Conway who replaces Duval at FF Dragon Racing. Conway is currently a works driver at Toyota Gazoo Racing in FIA WEC, but he has previously raced 7 Formula E races for the Venturi team in the 2015/16 season.

Conway has, other than his WEC and Formula E experience, a lot of experience from Indycar, where he has won the Grand Prix of Long Beach twice.

Paris ePrix will be run on May 20th on the roads close to the Eiffel Tower.
