Last week we had the news that RLR MSport had chosen to leave the reserves list for the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Now they have announced that their ELMS driver combination with Morten Dons and John Farano will share the Ligier JS P3 Nissan car with number 15 in the Road To Le Mans race Saturday morning.
Their sister car with number 14 is also scheduled to enter the race, where Dons and Farano’s teammate in the ELMS series, Alex Kapadia, is lead driver. His usual teammate in the Michelin Le Mans Cup, which the Road To Le Mans race is a part of, Ross Warburton won’t be doing that particular race, and if it stays like that, it probably won’t be a problem for the team to sell the seat to another driver, since it’s the full Le Mans circuit that will be used, and you only have that chance once a year.
The next time we’ll see Dons, Farano and Kapadia sharing the car, will be at the second round of the ELMS series at Monza on May 14th, where Kapadia and Warburton also will participate in the first round of the Michelin Le Mans Cup.
