Matthieu Vaxiviere will miss the 6 Hours of Spa Francorchamps when the FIA World Endurance Championship races there next week.
The Frenchman was unlucky to have a training accident on his bike, and that has cost him a broken right foot.
Normally he shares the TDS Racing #28 with Emmanuel Collard and Francois Perrodo, but now he’ll have to watch from the sideline during the next race.
The team has replaced him at Spa with Ben Hanley, who normally drives for DragonSpeed in the ELMS series. He posted fastest lap of the race, when they raced Round 1 at Silverstone.
There are no news about the length of the injury of Matthieu Vaxiviere, so we don’t know about his participation in the 24 Hours Of Le Mans – but racing drivers tend to heal quickly.
