Enzo Guibbert and Graff #39 took Pole Position in LMP2, at the second round of ELMS at Monza in Italy.
DragonSpeed #21 with Nicolas Lapierre was the second fastest car, while G-Drive Racing #22 with Ryo Hirakawa was third. The Championship leader United Autosports #32 will start fourth.
Currently third in the Championship, High Class Racing #49 had Dennis Andersen in the car to give him a bit more driving time, even when Anders Fjordbach is the fastest guy in the car. Andersen still managed to qualify 9th only 1,3 seconds from Pole Position, which is more than respectable from the bronze ranked driver.
The LMP3 cars had an amazing qualifying session, where the positions changed faster than the commentators could announce the team names. United Autosports #3 with Wayne Boyd was the quickest car, followed by M.Racing – YMR #19 with Ricky Capo only 0,048 of a second behind. Ultimate #17 with Matthieu Lahaye got third, while Championship leader United Autosports #2 with Sean Rayhall took fourth. Top 13 were split by less than a second and only Eurointernational #12, who had a trip through the gravel, was falling behind the rest.
Spirit of Race Ferrari #55 with Matt Griffin took Pole Position in the GTE category, with Larbre Competition Corvette #50 and Fernando Rees behind the wheel in second ahead of Proton Competition Porsche #77 driven by Matteo Cairoli. Nicki Thiim got the Championship leading TF Sport Aston Martin #90 into fourth position.
As a fun fact, we have all three Championship leaders starting from fourth starting position, when the race starts tomorrow afternoon at 13.30 CET, and can be followed on www.europeanlemansseries.com/en/live.
