Drugovich dominant in race 2

Felipe Drugovich started race two in Oschersleben from Pole Position, ahead of Marcus Armstrong and Fabio Scherer.

Drugovich got a fantastic start, and instantly had a big gap to the drivers chasing him.

Laurin Heinrich had a wild ride through the grass in turn 3 on lap one, before Tom Beckhäuser had an even wilder spin on lap two. Both could, however, continue without hitting anything.

Halfway through the race we saw Kami Laliberte off the track, and once again dropped out of top 10, just like he did in race 1.

Fabio Scherer defended will all his might, to keep Jonathan Aberdein behind. Aberdein made a too optimistic move into turn one and went off in the grass. But that didn’t give any rest for Scherer, who then got Juan Manuel Correa, Nicklas Nielsen and Juri Vips right up the tail pipes of the Swiss drivers car.

However, the end result was Drugovich winning, ahead of Armstrong and Scherer.

Race 3 will be run on Sunday at 11.05 CET.
