Antonio Felix da Costa will stay at the MS&AD Andretti team in the FIA Formula E Championship.
The Portuguese driver has been a part of all Formula E seasons, but had a miss a few rounds due to date clashes with other series. He drove the first two seasons for the Amlin Aguri team, before he went to the Andretti season for the 2016/17 season.
In the 2014/15 he claimed the victory in Buenos Aires, but that is his only podium in Formula E so far.
Felix da Costa is a BMW Works Driver, and therefore collects important knowledge for BMW’s own programme which will start in the 2018/19 season. BMW is already supporting the Andretti team, so it’s most likely for them to continue as partners.
Before he became a BMW driver, he was part of the Red Bull Junior programme, and did GP3, GP2, Formula Renault 3.5 and DTM and more.
This week the team will be part of the official test days in Valencia, alongside the two other BMW drivers Tom Blomqvist and Alexander Sims, who will also be driving for the MS&AD Andretti team. The final driver line-up for the season will be announced in the near future.
