The VLN championship has finalized their 2018 calendar.
The calendar consists of 9 weekends just like in 2017, and all but one are 4-hours races.
The series will start at on 24 March and finish on 20 October, and there will be two rounds run ahead of the Nürburgring 24 Hours, which is run on 10-13 May. N24 isn’t a part of the Championship, but a lot of the teams use the first two VLN races for extra mileage and practice their routines.
Two of the races in the 2018 season will be anniversaries, in which is the 42nd season of VLN. H&R-Cup celebrates 60 years anniversary while Barbarossapreis will be run for the 50th time.
The qualifying sessions will be run on Saturday mornings between 8.30 and 10.00, with the race start at 12.00 CET.
