The seats at United Autosports are filled up for the 2018 season.
Hugo de Sadeleer will have another season with the team, that he was close at grabbing the European Le Mans Series title with in the LMP2 category in 2017.
His season will consist of the ELMS season and Daytona 24 Hours in January plus the 24 Hours of Le Mans, in case the team gets an invite.
De Sadeleer will share a car at Daytana with Paul Di Resta and Will Owen, and a fourth yet unnamed driver. Owen and de Sadeleer were teammates during the ELMS 2017 season, and will continue to partner with each other in the upcoming season too.
United Autosports will enter two cars at the Daytona 24 Hours race, and the second one will be driven by Lando Norris, Phil Hanson and Fernando Alonso.
Filipe Albuerquerque will continue to be a part of the United Autosports team throughout 2018, but since he is full season driver in the Weathertech SportsCar Championship, he can’t be a part of the Daytona line-up.
Hugo de Sadeleer will be in the car next time, when the ROAR test on 5-7 January will happen ahead of the Daytona 24 Hours race, which will be run on 27-28 January.
