Jack Harvey will once again have a partial IndyCar programme with selected races during 2018.
Michael Shank Racing (MSR) and Schmidt Peterson Motorsport (SPM) will work together on running the car through these six races.
The 24 year-old Brit competed for Michael Shank Racing at the 2017 edition of the Indy500, but that was a collaboration between the MSR team and Andretti Autosport. Harvey finished the season off with two races for the SPM team, so all parties know each other very well already.
But it goes even further back with SPM.
Harvey raced Indy Lights in 2014 and 2015 for the team as well, where he finished second in the Championship in both seasons, behind Gabby Chaves and Spencer Pigot receptively.
Michael Shank Racing will also enter the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, where they still need two drivers for one of their cars at the Daytona 24 Hours. But time will tell if Jack Harvey will be one of those drivers.
