John Falb and Sean Rayhall will be the two drivers to help Chad Gilsinger and Ryan Eversley, when the Daytona 24 Hours will be run on 27-28 January.
Honda of America Race Team (HART) will enter an Acura NSX GT3 in the GTD category, which is a step up for the team, having run in the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge ST category until now.
The team plans only to run in the Tequila Patron North American Cup rounds at Daytona, Sebring, Watkins Glen and Petit Le Mans, which all are longer than the usual 2 hours and 40 minutes races, that the regular rounds of the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship consists of.
So far it’s just for the Daytona 24 Hours race that Falb and Rayhall will race the black and red Acura NSX GT3 #69.
The four drivers will share the car for the first time in one and a half week’s time, when the ROAR test will be run on 5-7 January.
