Aston Martin Racing has announced their combinations for the GTE Pro cars in the FIA World Endurance Championship 2018/19 season.
The WEC Champions from 2016, Marco Sørensen and Nicki Thiim, will be joined by 2017 Le Mans winner Darren Turner in car #95.
Jonny Adam, who won Le Mans 2017 together with Turner, will be sharing #97 with the two new arrivals in the shape of Alex Lynn and Maxime Martin.
It is a bit curious that neither Turner nor Adam is on the official FIA WEC entry list, but only a line in the box, where the third driver name should be entered. That could mean that only will do selected rounds, while the majority of the season will be done as a two-driver team with Sørensen/Thiim and Martin/Lynn.
Aston Martin Racing will continue to test tomorrow, while all the WEC teams will meet up on 6 April at Paul Ricard, for the official FIA WEC Prologue. The season starts one month later at Spa Francorchamps.
