Brundle replaces Senna

The names Brundle and Senna ring a bell in the motorsports world, and the two names are central in this news story.

Bruno Senna was scheduled to drive the Sebring 12 Hours for United Autosports, but he has been sick lately, and missed the Sebring test in February.

The team hasn’t announced further information, but we are going to send the Brazilian driver all the best, and hope to see him back behind the wheel very soon again.

On top of the TPNAEC programme for United Autosports, Senna is planned to drive for Rebellion Racing in their new LMP1 programme in the FIA World Endurance Championship.

He will be replaced by Alex Brundle in the red, white and blue Ligier JS P217 Gibson #32. The Brit drove for the Jackie Chan DC Racing X JOTA team at Daytona, but he was already called up as a reserve for the Sebring test.

The 66th Annual Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring presented by Advance Auto Parts will be run this Saturday, with the green flag falling at 15.40 CET, and can be followed via Live Stream at IMSA.tv or audio stream at Radiolemans.com.
