BMW Team Schnitzer doubles effort

BMW Team Schnitzer will double their entry in the ADAC GT Masters.

They will enter two BMW M6 GT3 cars with a very interesting driver line-up.

German Timo Scheider will share the first car with Dane Mikkel Jensen, while the other car will be driven by fellow German Dennis Marschall and Swede Victor Bouveng.

Timo Scheider arrived at BMW in 2017, where he participated with the GT3 car at Nürburgring plus various other outings.

Mikkel Jensen was chosen as BMW Junior Driver in 2017. He raced at several VLN rounds and some Blancpain GT Endurance Series races. On top of that, he drove in the European Le Mans Series for AT Racing, which he will race for again this year. There are two date clashes with ELMS this year, but his ADAC GT Masters programme has first priority.

Dennis Marschall was a BMW Junior driver alongside Jensen in 2017, and both drivers will continue with that title in 2018. They races a few VLN rounds together, but this year they will battle each other in each their BMW M6 GT3’s.

The final driver is Victor Bouveng. He was part of the BMW Junior programme in 2015, and has since then competed in things like International GT Open in a BMW M6 GT3.

The ADAC GT Masters series will test in the coming week in Oschersleben, before the season starts in three weeks’ time at the same track.
