Audi Sport costumer racing has a clear goal on sight to win the Nürburgring 24 Hours for the fifth time.
In their attempt to do that, they have put together four star-studded line-ups onboard the Audi R8 LMS GT3 models for this year’s race, being run on 12-13 May.
Audi Sport doesn’t officially enter as a constructor, but they still have a big influence on the four cars.
Audi Sport Team WRT enters with the DTM drivers Robin Frijns and Rene Rast plus Dries Vanthoor.
Audi Sport Team Land, the defending Champions in the race, will run the brothers Kelvin and Sheldon van der Linde as well as Christopher Mies.

Audi Sport Team Phoenix will have Nico Müller, Frank Stippler and Frederic Vervisch running.
Audi Sport Team BWT, also known as Mücke Motorsport, will enter for the first time in the historic race with an Audi. They have opted for Christopher Haase and Markus Winkelhock aas well as a third driver who is yet to be announced.
The four teams will enter this weekend in the VLN2, and again next weekend, when the Qualifying Race for the N24 is run.
