Ferrari has all their drivers for the 24 Hours of Le Mans ready for this June.
AF Corse had previously only announced the 4 FIA WEC drivers plus the lead driver on the extra car for Le Mans, but now all 9 names has been published.
Car #51 will have the defending World Champions James Calado and Alessandro Pier Guidi sharing the car with Daniel Serra. Serra was a works driver for Aston Martin in 2017, but he has already had two races in a Ferrari F488 GT3 car this year at the Daytona 24 Hours and the Sebring 12 Hours. Serra took Pole Position in both races, and that has been enough for the Brazilian to prove his speed for the Italian bosses.
Sam Bird and Davide Rigon will be joined by Miguel Molina in #71. That was the same three driver sharing that car at Le Mans 2017 as well.
Car #52 will be the extra car, as a Le Mans only entry this year. Toni Vilander was announced back in February and he will be joined by Italian Antonio Giovinazzi and Pipo Derani. Giovinazzi has previously been focusing on the single-seater sport, but he wants to try out sportscars now. Derani was a part of the Ford Chip Ganassi outfit, but now he will race for their arch rivals – the prancing horse.
The 3 by 3 drivers will have their first official participation together at the test day at Le Mans on 3 June.
