Ecurie Ecosse/Nielsen Racing ready for Asia

Ecurie Ecosse/Nielsen Racing confirmed a two car entry to the Asian Le Mans Series this morning.

The team will run Ligier JS P3 LMP3 cars, like they already do in the European Le Mans Series, Michelin Le Mans Cup and LMP3 Cup in the UK.

It’s already clear that Colin Noble will race one of the cars, while the other drivers haven’t been announced yet.

The most resent race for the team was the Road To Le Mans race, which is a part of the Michelin Le Mans Cup. The team had a massive 5 car entry for that race, but untypically finished far from the podium positions. They are however still second in the Championship standings in the Michelin Le Mans Cup.

With that announcement we already have 5 LMP3 cars and4 LMP2 cars confirmed for the upcoming season, and there are plenty more expected in the coming weeks and months.

The Asian Le Mans Series starts on 24-25 November at the Shanghai International Circuit, one week after the FIA World Endurance Championship race has been held on the same track.
