The FIA World Rallycross Championship will have a pink guest entry at the round in Latvia this upcoming weekend.
EKS Audi Sport will enter a third car for Nico Müller. He brings the pink BWT design, which is known from ADAC GT Masters and Formula 1 among others.
Müller has become a bit of a “regular” guest driver at the EKS team, with whom he raced for in 2017 too. He did a very good job, beating several of the established names, finishing fifth in Latvia last year.
So far it’s just one guest start planned, since the following race will be run in the USA, followed by the German round which collides with the DTM finale, while the season finale will be run in South Africa. It’s questionable if the EKS Audi Sport team will spend extra money to send the car and crew to the USA and South Africa – because those are the two last chances for Müller in 2018.
