TF Sport has announced their entry in the upcoming Asian Le Mans Series 2018/19.
The team collaborates with Red River Sport, resulting in a team name that surely will just roll off the tongue – Red River Sport by TF Sport.
Red River Sport was started by the former professional racing driver Johnny Mowlem, who still jumps behind the wheel alongside some of his clients. That will also be the case this time, with Mowlem being the lead driver, while Bonamy Grimes and Ivor Dunbar are the two others drivers in the car.
The three drivers has already shared a car at Le Mans this year, where they raced in the Road To Le Mans race in a LMP3 car.
TF Sport will be running an Aston Martin Vantage GT3, sporting the number 5 on the side.
They have great knowledge with that car model, in which they have good cards on their had to win the British GT Title this coming weekend.
The team was close at winning the GTE Championship in the European Le Mans Series in 2017, and has moved into the FIA World Endurance Championship in the GTE Am category.
The Asian Le Mans Series 2018/19 starts on 25 November in Shanghai.
