Plenty of stoppages in FP2

There were plenty of stoppages when the second Free Practice for the European Le Mans Series was run at Spa Francorchamps.

Two red flags and a Full Course Yellow, mixed in with rain showers that were coming and going, making it hard for the teams to get any useful running done regarding set-ups or long runs.

G-Drive Racing #26 with Jean-Eric Vergne was the fastest, while the track was still dry, followed by Duqueine Engineering #29 with Nicolas Jamin and IDEC Sport #28 with Paul Loup Chatin.

In the LMP3 category we had Job van Uitert in RLR MSport #15 as the fastest driver, ahead of Matthieu Lahaye in Ultimate #17 and Mattia Drudi in EuroInternational #11.

Proton Competition Porsche #77 with Dennis Olsen was the fastest GTE car, ahead of Ebimotors Porsche #80 with Riccardo Pera, and Proton Competition Porsche #88 with Giorgio Roda Jr. So even on dry tarmac, nobody could beat the Porsches. Alex MacDowall in JMW Motorsport Ferrari #66 was however only 0,2 of a second behind, so there is still a chance of a small surprise in the qualifying.

That will start at 13.10 for the GTE cars, followed by LMP3 and LMP2.
