DS Techeetah has presented their new car, and the four drivers who are involved in the the programme for the brand new DS E-TENSE FE 19 in the ABB FIA Formula E Championship 2018/19.
The team have re-elected the defending Champion Jean-Eric Vergne and his guardian, Andre Lotterer. There is no big surprise in that, since the two were announced as the test drivers of the new car back in June.
DS has swapped from Virgin Racing, at the same time as the new Gen-2 Formula E car has arrived.
Techeetah won the Formula E title with a Renault e.dams car, but has on the search for an exclusive supplier for a long time.
James Rossiter and Zhou Guanyu will be the development drivers on the car.
The first time the new DS Techeetah car will be seen by the public, is on 16 to 19 October in Valencia – a test that Racing24-7.net will be attending.
The race debut for the car will happen just shy of two months later in Saudi Arabia on 15 December.
