Felix Rosenqvist will still feature at Mahindra Racing in the ABB FIA Formula E Championship.
The Swede has raced during the past two seasons for the Indian team, but had actually done his final Formula E race for now, since he has signed with Chip Ganassi Racing in the Indycar series.
So there was absolutely no surprise, when his name didn’t come up at the announcement of the drivers for the 2018/19 season – the drivers being Jerome D’Ambrosio and Pascal Wehrlein.
But now Rosenqvist reappears wearing the teams clothing.

In exactly one month time, at the opening round in Saudi Arabia, he makes a surprise return to the team, next to D’Ambrosio.
The team doesn’t explain exactly why Wehrlein won’t be driving the opening round, but only states that the German will race for the team from January 2019 onwards.
Felix Rosenqvist has three Formula E victories so far – all won with Mahindra Racing. The Swede already tested the car during the summer, so it doesn’t mean too much, that he missed out on the official test days at Valencia, one month ago.
The ABB FIA Formula E Championship 2018/19 starts in Ad Diriyah on 15 December.
