Panis Barthez Competition have the drivers ready for the first of the European Le Mans Series cars of 2019.
Rene Binder and Will Stevens were previously announced as the drivers in the car, and now we have a well-known face as the final part of puzzle.
It will once again be Julien Canal, who shared the car with Stevens throughout the 2018 ELMS season.
The plan is to run with these three drivers in both ELMS and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, as long as they get an entry for that race – but they probably will, with such a winning potential. They are slowly developing into a regular LMP2 team at that event.
With Stevens as a Platinum, Binder as a really REALLY good Silver ranked driver, and Canal as a real Silver driver, the team has a really good combination for the 2019 season.
Panis Barthez Competition will enter another car in 2019, and team boss Olivier Panis expects to announce those three drivers in the very near future.
