Luzich Racing confirms all five drivers

Luzich Racing has confirmed all five drivers for the European Le Mans Series and Michelin Le Mans Cup in 2019.

Alessandro Pier Guidi will spearhead the Ferrari 488 GTE #51 effort in the ELMS, where he will be joined by French Fabien Lavergne and Dane Nicklas Nielsen as teammates.

Pier Guidi won the World Championship title in 2017 in the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2017, and is one of the very best Ferrari GT drivers in the world. He is basically racing a Ferrari each and every weekend of the year.

He had another Dane as a teammate in 2018, Mikkel Mac. Mac won the GT Open Championship with Luzich Racing – and Mac will also be part of the team this year. He will share a Ferrari 488 GT3 with Fabien Lavergne in the Michelin Le Mans Cup, so the French gentleman driver will have some extra time behind the wheel during the weekends.

Nicklas Nielsen has already proved his worth in an Ferrari too. He won the Ferrari Challenge Championship in 2018, and is counted as one of the future starts by the Italian brand. He too did selected rounds for Luzich Racing in GT Open in 2018.

The European Le Mans Series has the first collective test days on 8-9 April, while Michelin Le Mans Cup will test on 10 April – with the first races being run on 13 and 14 April respectively, at Circuit Paul Ricard in France.
