The FIA World Endurance Championship field will have one car less on the starting grid, due to DragonSpeed #10 having to drop out.
The American team with Henrik Hedman, Ben Hanley and James Allen were supposed to have participated in the BR1 Gibson LMP1 car, but due to electrical issues at the latest round at Sebring, the team haven’t been able to solve that and get the car ready for the Spa Francorchamps race.
The team has had a difficult FIA WEC season so far, only seeing the chequered flag twice in the six races, that has been run so far in the 2018/19 season.
They plan to be back at Le Mans in June, since they wouldn’t want to miss the iconic race.
That leaves us with 34 participating cars at the 6 Hours of Spa Francorchamps, which will be run this Saturday, starting 13.30 CET.
