Eventful Thursday race in Road to Le Mans

The third and fourth rounds of the Michelin Le Mans Cup were run at Circuit de la Sarthe, as a support race for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. But it didn’t run under the Michelin Le Mans Cup banner this time, but as Road to Le Mans, since there are a lot of non-championship contenders entering this race. First qualifying with lots of damaged cars

It was a turbulent first qualifying on Circuit de la Sarthe, prior to the 24 hours race on Saturday. SMP Racing #11 was the first car to set a fast time, while Toyota Gazoo Racing #7 quickly answered it again. DragonSpeed #10 surprised by being the second fastest at a time, until they fell back to P4, behind Rebellion Racing #3.
