Jarvis gets call-up for Japan

Oliver Jarvis will be jumping on a plane, when the FIA World Endurance Championship races on 6 October 2019.

Jarvis will replace Paul Di Resta at United Autosport, because the Scot has a clash with DTM, where Di Resta races for R-Motorsport.

The 35 year-old racing driver has several years of FIA WEC experience, where he was Audi Sport works driver for a few years, and then went on to have a season at Jackie Chan DC Racing.

He went to the USA in 2018, where he races in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship for Mazda Team Joest, but also had a start at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June 2019, where he raced for Risi Competizione in the GTE Pro category, in a Ferrari.

United Autosports #22 will run an ORECA 07 in the LMP2 category, with Paul Di Resta, Phil Hanson and Filipe Albuquerque as the full season drivers in the FIA World Endurance Championship 2019/20.
