Change of starting time for Le Mans 2020

There will be a change to the starting time of the 2020 24 Hours of Le Mans.

We have seen the race start at 15.00 CET for the last few years, but the tricolore will be waved at 16.00 CET instead, next year.

The ACO haven’t given any official reason to the change, but since the European Football Championships runs on the same time of the year, there might be a clash that is being avoided with this move.

The announcement happened today, on which the ticket sales started. Many travel companies will soon start selling the tickets, if they haven’t already done so. So it’s time to get hold of your ticket before the busy Christmas time shows up – or perhaps buy some tickets as a Christmas present.

The 88th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans will be run on 13-14 June 2020.
