Will Owen will stay at United Autosports for one more year, running in the European Le Mans Series.
This will be the fourth year for the American in the team, where he has won two races and grabbed futhermore four podiums in the LMP2 category. He was a part of their Daytona outfit in 2018, where they claimed an overall fourth position, before claiming third at Le Mans later in the year, in the team’s debut.
Owen will share the Ligier JS P217 Gibson #32 with Alex Brundle, and a yet unnamed third driver.
Both Brundle and Owen will also be in the car, if the team is granted entry to the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June 2020.
