Day one of ELMS testing done

The European Le Mans Series are finally getting their 2020 season going, with the first of two testdays being run at the Paul Ricard circuit in the south of France.

36 cars were present at this weeks test, which is held ahead of the season opener this Friday to Sunday.

The Tuesday practice session had DragonSpeed #21 fastest in LMP2, ahead of Cool Racing #37 and United Autosports #22.

United Autosports #2 were fastest in LMP3, ahead of Realteam Racing #8 and Nielsen Racing #7.

In GTE we had Iron Lynx Ferrari #60 fastest, ahead of Dempsey-Proton Racing Porsche #77, while Iron Lynx Ferrari #83 were third.

The afternoon session had the #83 fastest of all, with Spirit Of Race Ferrari #55 in second and Dempsey-Proton Racing Porsche #77 in third.

The LMP3 category once again had United Autosports #2 fastest, just as Realteam Racing #8 in second, and Inter Europol Competition #13 getting P3.

Cool Racing #37 were fastest amongst the LMP2 cars, while United Autosports #22 were second fastest, and G-Drive Racing #26 in third.

The day ended with two hours long evening session, which a lot of teams opted to skip.

Fastest in LMP2 was Duqueine Team #30, ahead of High Class Racing #20, and Algarve Pro Racing #25.

Graff #9 was the fastest car in LMP3, ahead of Eurointernational #11 and DKR Engineering #4.

Only three GTE cars were on track, with Iron Lynx Ferrari #60 being fastest, followed by AF Corse Ferrari #51, and Dempsey-Proton Racing Porsche #77.

There are another 7 hours of practice on Wednesday, split into a morning and an afternoon session.
