Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course has chosen to postpone the two NTT IndyCar Series races, that should have been run this coming weekend.
The track between Columbus and Cleveland has sent out a press release this Saturday night, stating that it is based on communication with the local health officials.
They expect to be able to run the races in either September or October this year, but will release further details at a later stage.
The month of September is currently an Indycar-free zone, following the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca and Portland International Raceway rounds were cancelled earlier in the week.
So the teams can start preparing for the Indy 500 action, which starts on 11 August with practice sessions etc, with the actual race being run on 23 August.
