One of the worst kept secrets in the ABB FIA Formula E Championship is finally confirmed.
Pascal Wehrlein has been hired by TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team, where he will pair up with Andre Lotterer in the upcoming season.
Wehrlein has already done one and a half seasons in the electric series for Mahindra Racing, and when he all of a sudden was replaced mid-season, during the just-finished 2019/20 season, the rumour mill really got going.

When the former DTM Champion and Formula 1 driver jumps into the Porsche, there is no longer room for Neel Jani at their Formula E team. Jani has confirmed himself, that he will remain a part of the Porsche family in the future, and that new projects are waiting for him there.
Season 7 in the ABB FIA Formula E Championship is scheduled to start in January 2021, with some testing being done later this year, at a yet unconfirmed date and location.
