Driver changes at Iron Lynx

Iron Lynx has changed their driver line-up slightly this weekend.

Neither Giacomo nor Andrea Piccini is present at the circuit due to family reasons, so the team has had to find two replacements for the Michelin Le Mans Cup, and a single for the European Le Mans Series.

Ferrari works driver Nicklas Nielsen had been called in for the ELMS entry #60, which he will share with Claudio Schiavoni and Sergio Pianezzola. Andrea is the regular driver in that car.

Matt Griffin was the replacement in the Michelin Le Mans Cup, where he would share with Claudio Schiavoni. Griffin normally races with Spirit Of Race Ferrari in the ELMS, but who says no to a bit of extra track time.

Nielsen will also double his workload, since he will jump into the championship-leading Iron Lynx Ferrari #8, alongside Rino Mastronardi. Giacomo has been the driver of that one so far this season.

Both the Michelin Le Mans Cup and European Le Mans Series races are run today, Saturday.
