James Hinchcliffe can once again put the microphone on the shelf, and jump in the racing suit. The Canadian will race for Andretti Autosport for the remainder of the 2020 season in car #26, which was available following the departure of Zach Veach. Hinch already did three races for Andretti Autosport in 2020, where he ran car #29 with Genesys sponsorship on the side of the car. Helio Castroneves has been called in as a replacement at Arrow McLaren SP, at the upcoming Harvest Grand Prix at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Oliver Askew felt unwell after the Mid-Ohio race weekend, with balance- and coordination problems, and was then checked by the doctors. Acura has announced two new teams, which will continue running their DPi programme in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in 2021 and beyond.
