High Class Racing will enter a mixed European line-up for their Rolex 24 at Daytona entry later this month.
Anders Fjordbach and Dennis Andersen will continue their LMP2 collaboration from the European Le Mans Series, over the last four years.
The Danish pairing will be joined by Ferdinand Habsburg, who has DTM experience, as well as Daytona experience, from his previous outing with United Autosports.
Last but not least, the former Formula 1 driver, Robert Kubica will be part of the team. Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN has given him a few days off as their test- and reserve driver, allowing him to have his debut in the 24-hour race. But this isn’t the first time for him to participate in a 24 hour endurance race. He has previously raced in Dubai as well.
The car will sport red and white colours, i.e. the colours of the Danish, Austrian and Polish national flags, with added sponsor logos from the two new drivers to the team.
This will be the first task for High Class Racing in 2021, who aims at receiving an FIA World Endurance Championship entry for Anders Fjordbach, Dennis Andersen and Jan Magnussen. The entry for the FIA WEC closes in one weeks time, and then the ACO and LMEM will start choosing the entries, and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The FIA WEC entry list is expected shortly thereafter, while the full Le Mans entry list won’t be released until late February or early March.
The 24-hour race in Daytona will start with testing and qualifying race in two weeks time, while the 24 hours race itself will be run in just over three weeks time.
